For many years Enn and Robin have presented artists of original folk and acoustic music in various venues around Algoma, through The Black Fly Jam Folk Club. Sometimes that venue is in our Superior Suite of the chalet - it comfortably seats up to 50 and includes a stage for the performer and a professional sound system.

These house concerts are a great opportunity to enjoy a performance by musicians you might not normally have a chance to see in an intimate and respectful setting.

Tickets are sold in advance and in the range of $10 - $30, depending on the performer's fee. Shows typically start at 8 pm and include two 45 minute musical sets, and an intermission to visit with the performer and friends. Snacks are appreciated for intermission (but not expected) and you may bring your own personal refreshments.

Our past roster of performances is extensive - among many others we've hosted Stephen Fearing, Fred Eaglesmith, Rodney Brown, Katherine Wheatley, Wendell Ferguson, The Wild Turkeys, Ian Tamblyn, Ray Bonneville, Willie P, Bennett, James Gordon, and Rick Fines.

House concerts are a wonderful way to enjoy the best a performer has to offer - a chance to be part of an intimate presentation, meet and chat with the artists, and make new acquaintances, in the comfort of a private home. All of the admission price is remitted to the performers. Our seats are limited in number - so we require reservations.
