Step out the door to the best backcountry! Free your heel and blow your mind! For 40 years we have been clearing and maintaining our glades for the best climbing and shussing experience in the midwest.
Lake Superior drops an average of 250-300 inches of snow every winter, and that makes for some steep and deep fun!
Our maple forest encompasses 1000 acres and has a vertical climb over several ridges of 200 metres. All non-motorised access, trails are packed in by foot traffic, with snowshoe and ski. Some level of back-country skiing experience is needed for this terrain. Snowshoes are available for limited numbers of hikers and snowboarders. We encourage you to contact us to talk gear if you are not sure what equipment to bring.
